Not everyone knows our backstory and who we are and where we came from. We’re real people, from the streets, who love to put in work and have been through so much trauma & turmoil in our lives that music ended up becoming an outlet for us. We’re All Connected in the Dirt – This is N8NOFACE.
Now, people in recovery reach out to me, thanking me, and it trips me out because in my book, I’m just a f*cking f*ck-up. But if talking about it out loud keeps some kid from eating that same poison, then at least the scars are worth something. We’re all connected in the dirt. You never know who’s in the crowd drowning in it — and if my wreckage can help someone else pull through, that’s all you can ask for. That’s how we survive.

Cuando partí con el tatuaje, la escena en la que me desarrollé estaba arraigada en el dibujo, la ilustración y el punk. Siento que ese entorno sirvió como mi escuela para aprender el oficio: un espacio muy cómodo entre amigos donde iba aprendiendo de a poco. Nunca tuve un maestro que me enseñara a tatuar; aprendí preguntando y mirando mucho.

Todo lo que hay que saber sobre Mister Sister está dentro de los límites de lo dibujado. Cualquier cosa que yo diga está de más, así que ahí está para que lo vean ustedes mismos.

Siempre es mi origen y mi esencia; que soy una rata de la Ciudad de México. Esa intensidad se traslada directamente a mis cuadros, los cuales concibo como un collage total de la esencia callejera: una mezcla caótica de pintura, esténcil, rótulos, manchas y grafiti. La Ciudad de México es intensa y mi idea también: crear intensamente.
