Not everyone knows our backstory and who we are and where we came from. We’re real people, from the streets, who love to put in work and have been through so much trauma & turmoil in our lives that music ended up becoming an outlet for us. Rather than becoming full-fledged criminals and drug addicts, we’re here.

I have a form of graphic rebellion: stealing images, raiding the internet, and creating something more, to make a remix of street nostalgia.

Siempre es mi origen y mi esencia; que soy una rata de la Ciudad de México. Esa intensidad se traslada directamente a mis cuadros, los cuales concibo como un collage total de la esencia callejera: una mezcla caótica de pintura, esténcil, rótulos, manchas y grafiti. La Ciudad de México es intensa y mi idea también: crear intensamente.
MISTER SISTER. <ENG>
Each Mister Sister is born from a moment charged with emotion. Some stem from searing pain; others, from rage. Some arose from euphoria, others from anguish, others from despair. Others were completed amidst the weariness of a heavy, drawn-out patience, while others took shape to the rhythm of a song played a thousand times in a row. It was always an intense exercise of pencil against paper, ensuring the strokes conveyed nothing contrary to what I was feeling.

Cada Mister Sister nace de un momento cargado de emoción. En algunos hay un dolor punzante; en otros, rabia. Algunos nacieron de la euforia, otros de la angustia, otros de la desesperación. Otros fueron terminados en el hastÃo de una paciencia pesada y otros funcionaron al ritmo de una canción que fue reproducida 1000 veces seguidas. Era siempre el ejercicio intenso del lápiz contra el papel y el cuidado de que los trazos no dijeran algo contrario a lo que sentÃa.
